- Inspect crop stores, feed stores, bins, silage clamps or mixing areas for cleanliness, ventilation, pest control and segregation.
- Talk to a team member about feed delivery, storage, feeding routines and any previous spoilage or contamination issues.
- Rate the risks as low, medium or high based on quality loss, feed hygiene, animal health and ease of control.
- Choose one major risk and carry out a practical improvement.
