Understand the evidence Recognise why farms keep accurate records and how information supports compliance, assurance and business decisions.

The Farm for Food learning journey

The three sessions deliberately fit together. Start with the people connected to the business, then consider the values that influence agricultural workplaces, and finally look at the information and records that allow a farm to demonstrate what it does.

1. Stakeholders Who has an interest?
2. British Values How should people and decisions be treated?
3. Farm Records How do we record and demonstrate what happens?

Link the lessons to your workplace

The aim is not simply to finish three web pages. Use what you learn here when investigating your own farm business.

  • Identify real stakeholders, suppliers, customers and service providers.
  • Think about how people, laws, standards and values influence decisions.
  • Find examples of records used for compliance, assurance and farm performance.
  • Use your findings when developing your Farm for Food workplace evidence and presentation.
